About the role

What You'll Be Doing

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in developing systematic equity investment strategies. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Researching and developing predictive signals across global equity markets.
• Analyzing large-scale financial, fundamental, and alternative datasets.
• Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to identify investment opportunities.
• Designing, testing, and implementing systematic investment models.
• Conducting rigorous backtesting and performance analysis.
• Partnering with portfolio managers on signal development, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Evaluating new datasets and identifying differentiated sources of alpha.
• Developing research tools and infrastructure to improve research efficiency.
• Monitoring live model performance and recommending enhancements.
• Presenting research findings to portfolio managers and investment teams.

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Excellent understanding of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and optimization.
• Experience working with large datasets and quantitative research methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex research findings clearly and effectively.
